Well just over a month after they finally released the results of the FY17 promotion board, it’s time to get ready for this years board. MILPER message 18-021 was released on the 18th. The zones of consideration are:
FOR CW3:
Above the Zone: CW2 with an ADOR of 30 Sep 13 and earlier.
Promotion Zone: CW2 with an ADOR of 01 Oct 13 thru 30 Sep 14.
Below the Zone: N/A
FOR CW4:
Above the Zone: CW3 with an ADOR of 30 Sep 13 and earlier.
Promotion Zone: CW3 with an ADOR of 01 Oct 13 thru 30 Sep 14.
Below the Zone: N/A
FOR CW5:
Above the Zone: CW4 with an ADOR of 30 Sep 13 and earlier.
Promotion Zone: CW4 with an ADOR of 01 Oct 13 thru 30 Sep 14.
Below the Zone: CW4 with an ADOR of 01 Oct 14 thru 30 Sep 15.

- ~10 MAY 18 – Board Completes
It will be truly criminal that I could suck up a sequence number if I tried lol. Wonder should I grow a mustache, take a DA photo and validate my board file while I am on PTDY? I can write a letter to the board but I have been told that my file will still get reviewed. Yet sr Warrant leadership will bad mouth us after the list releases because we took a number that belonged to someone else no matter what policy states.
